Untiled Leave project presented by Kaz Sherman

  • Ivy Arts Building - Movo Space #206 2637 27th Avenue South Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55406 United States (map)

Open “rehearsal” for Untitled Leave project on June 18

Initiated and organized by Kaz K Sherman, this ongoing creative project looks at cognitive decline and dementia as a way to think about the artistic process. It treats forgetting as a kind of freedom. It’s about making art without holding on to every idea, not being tied down, and not needing to be fully known or unknown.

The work explores what it means to let things happen—or not happen—without pressure. It plays with free expression, shifting ideas, and taking risks without a set destination.

  • Time: 1:30-2 p.m.

  • Location: MOVO Space #206, Ivy Building 2637 27th Ave S, 55406

  • Street parking, elevator in the building

This work is made possible by artists generally, and specifically by Carlo Antonio Villanueva, Arwen Wilder, Katie Ka Vang, Leslie O’Neill, Sam Johns, Laura Selle-Virtucio, Pramila Vasudevan, Eva Mohn, Kristin Van Loon, Sam Aros-Mitchell, Morgan Thorson, and MOVO.

This activity is made possible by the Bridge Fund for Dance program through the City of Minneapolis Arts & Cultural Affairs Department.
