Fresh Baked, a new performance series presented by Strange Loop Projects

  • Strange Loop Laboratory 1629 Hennepin Avenue Minneapolis, MN, 55403 United States (map)

Four choreographers. One day. Brand-new work.

Fresh Baked is a new performance series presented by Strange Loop Projects that challenges choreographers to create performance-ready work within a compressed 24-hour creative window.

Four acclaimed choreographers receive a shared set of prompts and have just one day to develop original choreography, which is then presented live to an audience that same night. The result is bold, decisive work shaped by time, instinct, and close proximity between performers and audience.

This inaugural installment of Fresh Baked takes place on Sunday, February 15, and marks the launch of an ongoing series focused on artistic rigor, experimentation, and creative process under pressure. While the work is created quickly, the expectation is fully realized performance, not works-in-process.

Featuring work by Susana di Palma, Nic Lincoln, Kerry Parker, and Anna Pinault. (Lineup subject to change.)
