Oromo Irreechaa Festival at the Lake
Irreechaa is the only event celebrated by millions of people across Oromia, as well as in dozens of countries around the world.
Join a traditional Oromo celebration on September 20 at Powderhorn Park. Discover the unique cultural significance of Irreechaa, the Oromo tradition held every September at the Lake and in May on top of the Mountain. The Irreechaa celebration held in Minneapolis, Minnesota is dedicated to showing our vibrant heritage. All are welcome!

Blessing of the Grasses Noon
