Skill share and Potluck at the Center for People and Craft

The Center for People and Craft invites you to an informal Skillshare & Potluck—a chance to gather, meet neighbors, and exchange the skills and stories that make our community unique. Whether you’re eager to teach something you love or learn something new, this is a space for curiosity, generosity, and hands-on creativity. Together, we’ll explore the crafts and traditions rooted in this region’s landscapes and cultures.

  • Date: Saturday, November 15

  • Time: 5 -8 p.m.

  • Location: 519 Oak Grove Street (entrance across next to the playground on Hennepin Ave). The Center for People and Craft is located in the education building connected to St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral. For this event, you can park in our dedicated parking area just off Lyndale Avenue on the west side of the Cathedral (directly opposite the Walker Art Center) OR in the St. Mark’s parking lot on the east side of the Cathedral. Look for orange signs to find your way to our door. Visit our website for detailed instructions on finding CPC.

  • RSVP for free: https://www.peopleandcraft.org/

Your presence and participation help shape the growing vision of the Center for People and Craft. Bring a craft or skill, a dish to share, or just stop by to enjoy live music from local old time band, HamDog, and the company of others.

This Arts & Culture Vibrant Storefronts is funded, in part, by the City of Minneapolis Arts & Cultural Affairs Department.
