Skntones™ presents Only I Know the Plans I Have for You, a one-night-only gallery opening and culmination of a weeklong live painting residency by artist Tchanna Pierre.
The work explores the body as a living archive — a way of measuring time through physical and emotional change. Scars, haircuts, tattoos, stretch marks... each tells a story, each a timestamp from a different chapter. The title Only I Know the Plans I Have for You reflects this idea — that even in transformation, there’s intention. The body remembers what the mind might forget.
